Shoulder flexion stretch supine – Clasped shoulder stretch

Shoulder flexion stretch is designed to increase  the flexion motion around the shoulder joint in supine position. To  perform this stretch:

Clasped shoulder stretch
Shoulder flexion stretch supine

  • Lie on back.
  • Clasp fingers together.
  • Raise arms up, straightening the elbows.
  • Move arms over head until a gentle stretch is felt under the arms.
  • Hold and return to start position and repeat.
  • Hold end position for 20-30 seconds
  • Repeat for 5-6 times
